    Manchester City, Guardiola wants Fabregas

Raising competition for AC Milan in hunt for Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas. According to today’s edition of the Sun on Sunday, the Spaniard’s old boss Pep Guardiola wants his compatriot to join the Etihad outfit in the January window.

Guardiola is a long time admirer of the former Arsenal man who played 48 games under Pep at Barcelona in the 2011-12 campaign, scoring 15 goals and registering 20 assists.

Fabregas, 29, is struggling to get game time at Chelsea this term as he has only collected six appearances with the Blues so far this season.

AC Milan are also being linked with welcoming the player’s services in January, but will they still attempt to try the Spaniard given the exceptional growth of the youngster Manuel Locatelli?
