Serie A transfer news: Morata eyed by Chelsea, Inter in Soriano chase, Napoli bid for Mammana
As widely known, Real Madrid will exercise their € 30 million buy-back clause to sign Alvaro Morata from Juventus. The Old Lady, however, is interested in keeping the young Spanish hit-man in the squad and will probably make the Merengues an offer to keep Morata at the J Stadium.
Given Morata’s outstanding performances during his two-year spell in Turin, La Liga giants want to have their academy product back home to sell him again for a fee which would be much more expensive than just € 30 million.
Romano reports Chelsea have joined the race to sign the 23-year-old Spain International. Conte, a long-time admirer of Morata wants to coach him after they failed to work together in 2014 as the manager handed his resignation as Juventus manager before the Spaniard could arrive.
Inter will be looking to reduce the gap with the Serie A defending champions trying to keep their best players and brining him new faces who can improve the team’s average quality. Ever Banega is set to arrive at the San Siro as a free agent, thought the Nerazzurri are still keeping tabs on Sampdoria’s Roberto Soriano.
Inter have scouted the German-born with Italian passport midfielder in Samp’s 1-1 draw against Fiorentina and Piero Ausilio has already scheduled a meeting with the Blucerchiati representatives for the beginning of May. The player’s price-tag is somewhere around € 15 million.
Napoli are one of those teams that will be claiming a Scudetto title next season and the Partenopei are pondering the signing of AC Milan and Fiorentina target Emanuel Mammana. River have slapped a € 12 million price tag on their promising central defender and the Serie A giants are expected to make their first approach in the next few weeks in order to seal the transfer of one of the most wanted defenders out there.
