The Serie A weekend reaches its climax at the San Siro this evening as Inter host Fiorentina. New boss Stefano Pioli has already witnessed his side’s Jekyll & Hyde characteristics, after a hard fought 2-2 draw in last weekend’s Milan derby was followed by a complete horror show against Hapoel Beer Sheva in the Europa League which saw their interest in the competition terminated.
 

Pioli is without Chilean midfielder Gary Medel, who will be missing until the new year with his place possibly being taken by either Jeison Murillo or Andrea Ranocchia. Portuguese midfielder Joao Mario is likely to get the vote over Ever Banega to support striker Mauro Icardi.  

Fiorentina arrive in Milan off the back of a 4-0 demolition over Tuscan rivals Empoli. After sitting out last Thursday’s Europa League tie, striker Nikola Kalinic will return up-front in place of Kouma Babacar. Coach Paulo Sousa has no injury concerns ahead of the game, with his own future coming under serious scrutiny.
