Sampdoria star Eder pushing to join Inter
The Brazilian-born striker with Italian passport has netted 11 goals in Serie A this season and he wants to swap Marassi for San Siro in January window, if rumors coming from FCInterNews.it are to be believed.
As previously reported, Samp rejected Jiangsu Suning’s € 8 million bid last week, while the player was offered shock € 4 million per year contract, but Eder also turned down the Chinese club’s offer.
Blucerchiati president Massimo Ferrero’s slapped € 15 million price tag on the player, but the club could lower their demands as the two parties are reportedly on good terms.
Inter hope to sign Eder for a fee of € 12-13 million, while Roberto Mancini was spotted in Genoa last week, officially for personal reasons, but the former Man City gaffer is rumored to have met Eder and his agent.
Should Sampdoria sell Eder during the current transfer window, the likes of Ciro Immobile and Simone Zaza have been lined up to replace the former Cesena star at Marassi (both on a six-months loan).
