Inter to meet Eder’s agent amid Chinese interest
Alfredo Pedullà reports that Chinese club Jiangsu Sainty have offered Samp € 8 million to secure the player’s services, while the 29-year-old has been offered a salary of € 3.5 million a year plus bonuses.
No secret that Inter manager Roberto Mancini is a long-term admirer of the former Cesena star and would like him to join the San Siro side in January.
Former Man City boss refused to turn down interest for the Brazilian-born hit-man with Italian passport after Wednesday’s evening clash against Empoli, declaring that it’ll be very difficult to convince Sampdoria to sell their most prolific striker.
Eder’s agent Manuel Montipò, by the way, was spotted in Milan’s Westin Palace Hotel yesterday as he’s expected to meet Inter’s Sporting Director Piero Ausilio today in order to discuss the player’s transfer.
With the Blucerchiati in desperate need of a couple of defenders in January, Inter could propose Andrea Ranocchia, Danilo D’Ambrosio or Dodo in a cash-plus player exchange deal.
