Sami Khedira reveals why he decided to leave Real Madrid, join Juventus
“I had spent five amazing years in Madrid, I could decide whether to sign a contract extension with Real Madrid or look for a new challenge: a new country, a new culture and a new language. I wanted a new experience and I received the call of Juventus. They were the Serie A champions and had reached the Champions League final in the previous campaign.”
“When I spoke to Allegri I understood that I’ve had a big role at Juventus, more responsibilities and a role as a leader. I’m old enough to take on my responsibilities. I think that it has worked, joining Juventus was the best choice I could do.”
