    Romano Exclusive: Roma to offer new deals to Chelsea targets Nainggolan, Manolas

    Roma are set to offer new deals to Chelsea targets Kostas Manolas and Radja Nainggolan, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
     
    Both players are playing leading roles at the Stadio Olimpico at the moment, and are reputed as being among the best at their respective roles in Serie A.
     
    Nainggolan was courted heavily by Chelsea this summer, only for the Belgian to refuse a mega-offer, despite some heavy lobbying from Belgian team-mates Eden Hazard and Thibault Courtois.
     
    Flemish paper Het Nieuwsblad had recently reported that the Blues had rekindled their interest, trying to play on the Antwerp native’s dissatisfaction at his current deal.
     
    Having asked for €6 million a year, it looks like the ex-Cagliari man will get €5m a season, but he has yet to agree to it.
     
    Manolas, for his part, has yet to find any sort of rapprochement with the Giallorossi, who again  had fend off Chelsea this summer.
     
    Both players are known to be liked by Juventus, too.
     
    A player who used to linked to Manchester United, Kevin Strootman, is the closest of the three to staying, the Dutch international set to sign a €2.5m-a-year deal until 2021.
