Roma boss Spalletti: 'We're ready to face Real Madrid'
After the game won against Carpi, AS Roma head coach Luciano Spalletti told Mediaset Premium: “First of all, I am happy about the team’s personality. We also had some quality; we can do better, but we deserved to win. Dzeko? Tonight we had many good things, Dzeko’s goal was one of them. It’s an important thing, as well as others, like, for example, the performances of some players that until now didn’t get many minutes, like Vainqueur. Are we a bit naïve in the defensive phase? It’s not easy to play against a team like Carpi, and even after their goal we remained concentrated”. Regarding next Wednesday’s Champions League game against Real Madrid, the Tuscan tactician stated: “We’ll bring to that game tonight’s enthusiasm. It will be very difficult, but we’ll go there to play our chances”.
