REVEALED: James one of three players Real need to sell
One in particular is James Rodriguez, but nobody can afford the €75 million that Real bought him for, or the €50 million they'd need to not lose money from the operation.
The Colombian is behind the BBC, Toni Kroos, Casemiro and Luka Modric in the pecking order. Trouble is, they've not received any offers matching their requests, if we exclude the latest reports we're hearing from England about a €70m bid Chelsea are willing to make for him. Could Antonio Conte do it?
What about option two, Isco? Real would hope to make €35-40m from the sale of the former Malaga man, but he won't move! The Spaniard has gone on record to say that he wants to fight for his play at the Bernabeu.
The third option, then is Mateo Kovacic, who we have written about in this piece. The problem with the Croatian is that nobody has yet to offer the €25m Florentino Perez. AC Milan have been known to have an interest in him, but they are only willing to offer a loan for him. Could it work for Real, knowing that they could benefit from the return of a successful loanee next season?
