REPORT: AC Milan eye the "new CR7"
Since he joined the Aguias’ first team, the 18-year-old has changed from a center forward into a powerful and skilled winger, and is now considered the heir of Cristiano Ronaldo.
This season, Guedes lent some credence to the hype by scoring a goal in the Champions League game against Atletico Madrid, becoming the youngest Portuguese player to have scored in Europe's elite competition, and will even get the chance to replace CR7 himself in his national team for the next two games.
The 18-year-old has six more years on his contract with the Lisbon’s club and a €50 million release clause, but the European top clubs keep on eyeing him, especially AC Milan, who are on great terms with Benfica’s Sporting Director, and a former Rossonero to boot: Rui Costa.
