    REPORT: Lazio sprint for Thauvin

    Lazio are trying to speed up the negotiation for Newcastle United winger Florian Thauvin: as reported by the Corriere dello Sport, the 23-year-old –who has played on loan for Marseille in the second part of the last season- has no intention to move back to England.

    The Frenchman is considered the right substitute of Antonio Candreva, whose future remains uncertain. Thauvin was chosen by Bielsa, but the fact that the Argentine boss won’t coach the biancocelesti won’t change anything, so that the Roman club’s director of sport Igli Tare has already met the player’s agents.
