REPORT: Ex-PSG defender Van der Wiel has already chosen Roma
According to today’s Corriere dello Sport, the Gregory van der Wiel really wants to play with Roma, and has already made his decision with regards to next year. Also approached by Barcelona, Inter and Juventus, the 28-year-old has apparently accepted a lower salary to play at the Olimpico.
Walter Sabatini already has a three-year deal ready, though he is still agreeing to all the details with Italo-Dutch agent Mino Raiola. Roma’s other alternative for the right, Martin Caceres, is less convincing because of his recurring tendon injuries.
