Is the relationship between Cristiano Ronaldo heading for complete breakdown? In yesterday’s 2-2 draw at Las Palmas, the Portuguese superstar was substituted for the second game in succession, raising concerns that there has been a falling out between himself and coach Zinedine Zidane.
 

Yesterday’s substitution was all the more bizarre when you consider that Los Blancos were locked at 2-2 with the Canary Islanders and surely a team including Ronaldo has a greater chance of winning than one without him. As he left the field CR7 was obviously unhappy at the decision of his manager and his expression showed that he certainly wasn’t expecting to be replaced. His mum Dolores even sent a tweet telling him to “never lower his head”, as her son continues to go through an unhappy period in the Spanish capital.
