Ten times Champions League winner Real Madrid are interested in Serie A star Miralem Pjanic, the Calciomercato understands.

Spanish giants have scouted the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team during the last two games of Roma against Carpi and Palermo. The 25 year old shape is absolutely brilliant at the moment as he managed to hit in both games as well as featuring always among the best players in the pitch.

Former Lyon midfielder has been on Real Madrid targets during last transfer window as well, but his sale was out of question at Roma. At the same time the feeling through La Liga club was that the midfielder’s talent was still too volatile to worth a huge investment.

Last summer Real Madrid preferred to sign in former Inter starlet Mateo Kovacic, whose price was not as expensive as the one of Miralem Pjanic. The Croatia International deliver, by the way, has never been more consistent than the one of Roma star.

Pjanic’s contract with Roma is due to expire in 2018 and the club request for him is expected to be in the region of 45/50 million. Anyway, being Pjanic the team top scorer, with three goals in the first seven Serie A appearances, there would be no surprise if Roma would ask for some extra cash to let him go.
