Ranocchia: "I'm happy at Sampdoria, I'll consider my future in June"

Sampdoria defender Andrea Ranocchia has been speaking to Sky Sport.

He began by explaining that; "I've enjoyed my time at Sampdoria. At Inter there was little space in the team for me so I had to leave. At the moment I have three years left on my contract with the nerazzurri and I still have very close links with the club. We will have to see what happens in June". He moved on to explain what it was like playing under coach Vincenzo Montella to which he replied; "When you change coach there are always difficulties. When Montella first arrived there were a few problems because with so many new players, it was difficult to find an identity. Now we are beginning to see how good he is".

Looking ahead to Sundays match against Milan, Ranocchia explained that; "It was a surprise to see Mihajlovic get the sack, I was unhappy for him because I know him well. Playing against them is always special for me, so I'm disappointed to be suspended on Sunday!".
