PSG set to offer Cavani new deal
According to Le Parisien, the Ligue1 side have made contact with the player’s entourage after that talks between the two parties had been put on hold last summer.
PSG director of sport Patrick Kluivert made a contract extension offer to Cavani a few months ago, but the two parties failed to find agreement. Rumours from France suggest that negotiations have been restored and that the Ligue1 giants are set to offer Cavani a two-year contract extension with a pay rise.
With Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s summer departure from the Parc des Princes, Cavani has become PSG’s main striker and the former Napoli ace has proved not to be struggling to fill the former Sweden striker boots as he has netted 15 goals in as much games so far this season.
