MERRY XMAS EVERYONE!
Merry Christmas everyone!
It's that time of the year again, the time when we realize we can't wrap presents for toffee, when we have to stop ourselves from buying our mothers perfume for the seventh year in a row and actually come up with something original. Oh, and course, when it dawns on us that we don't remember a word of our partners' endless November "hinting" (aka rabbiting) at what they wanted.
I don't remember what mine wanted, so if I'm found in a ditch later today YOU KNOW WHO DUN IT
Anyway. celebrations like these make us appreciate all the small pleasure that we normally take for granted (and the presents, provided they don't suck).
As Stefano Borgonovo put it: "I've learned to appreciate what I have left: my friends, positive feelings, the rare occasion when I can move my limbs. I take what good life throws my way, and I still feel lucky, I even realise there are those who have been given less than me. So I laugh".
We hope you can take the day off from worrying about Sinisa Mihajlovic, Rudi Garcia, Antonio Rudiger, Stefano Pioli, Alvaro Morata, Antonio Rudiger again (he really is terrible) and Adem Ljajic to take stock of what you do have, and those who are celebrating with you. They've always been there for you, and always will.
