CM EXCLUSIVE: Poli could leave AC Milan

    • M.G.
Two years ago, he left Sampdoria to join AC Milan, and now the future of the 26-year-old midfielder Andrea Poli could be again at the Luigi Ferraris. The Italy international is not considered a key player by the rossoneri’s boss Sinisa Mihajlovic, and during the current season he has had just 11 appearances. And he could have even more chances to start in the next months, as the Lombard club seems intentioned to sign another midfielder during the next transfer window.
The venetian player wants to have some chances to be part of Antonio Conte’s squad for the European Cup, and for this reason he will probably ask to leave to join a team where he can get more minutes.
As reported by calciomercato.com, the player has been offered to Napoli, but the azzurri are evaluating other options, so that a transfer to the blucerchiati could become a concrete option. The problem is that Milan still evaluate the player an important amount, and that the player currently earns €1,5 million per season.
