Pjanic, Pogba, Mascherano, Andre Gomes: Outlining Juventus transfer strategies for midfield reinforcement
That’s why Juventus still hope to sign the Bosnia and Herzegovina International.
Today’s Gazzetta dello Sport reports that negotiations between the two parties are still ongoing. Juventus are not willing to pay the player’s € 38 million release clause, because unable to make a unique single cash payment.
The two parties are talking about a formula which would allow Juventus to pay the player by instalments and – maybe – involving some of the Old Lady’s footballers in a player plus cash swap deal with Zaza, Asamoah and Pereyra rumoured to be the most likely players to be travelling towards the Olimpico in the summer.
What about Mascherano and Andre Gomes?
The Argentinean star is reportedly trying to convince Barcelona to sell him for a very low price-tag, whilst the Portuguese International would cost Juventus somewhere around € 50 million.
According to La Gazzetta, Juventus can buy Andre Gomes, Mascherano and Pjanic only if Paul Pogba departs this summer. If the Frenchman will stay at the J Stadium also in the 2016-17 campaign, only two of them will be joining the bianconeri side in the next transfer window.
