EXCLUSIVE Romano: Dani Alves begins house hunting in Turin
Massimiliano Allegri and Giuseppe Marotta wanted to keep Cuadrado at the J Stadium, but the arrival of Antonio Conte on Chelsea’s bench has complicated the Old Lady’s plans.
Conte is a long time admirer of the Colombian winger and has asked Chelsea to bring him back to South-West London at the end of his loan spell at Juve despite the two parties had already reached verbal agreement over Cuadrado’s permanent sale for a fee of € 20-25 million. Only a verbal agreement, however. No official documents were signed last summer, that’s why Cuadrado will wear the Blues shirt again next season.
As out transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano reports, Juventus are negotiating Dani Alves’ move since very long time and have been holding secret meetings for several weeks to avoid competition from other clubs.
The arrival of Dani Alves is now imminent. Each day could be a good day to see him travelling to Turin and pen a three-year deal. The player is already looking for a new hose in Italy. He might move to Dybala’s villa as the Argentinean striker is looking for a new property in town.
Sime Vrsaljko and Silvain Widmer can’t be considered transfer targets anymore because the right-back role will be covered by Dani Alves next season. However, the confirmation of Cuadrado would have postponed the arrival of Berardi in Turin, but with the club’s change of strategy also the Italian starlet is close to becoming a new Juventus player.
