PAPERK TALK: Father says Joao Mario wants Inter move, Tielemans linked with AC Milan
In the meantime, Joao Mario’s father has released an interview to the Corriere dello Sport talking about the nerazzurri interest in his son who has recently won EURO 2016 with Portugal.
“My son is on holiday right now, he was amazing on the pitch on Sunday and despite being on holiday he wants updates over his future. We have some meeting scheduled in the next ten days and there will be news soon.”
“Inter are a top club, everyone player would like to wear their shirt. The Serie A is also an amazing league with clubs like Juventus, Roma and AC Milan. Joao Mario is ready to play in Italy. He can play everywhere in Europe, I am proud of him. His transfer doesn’t depend on us only. Sporting Lisbon have to be taken into account too.”
In order to respect FFP rules Suning could decide to buy Joao Mario and loan him out to Inter afterwards. In the meantime the nerazzurri have registered the signings of Maj Roric (16) and Julain Llanes (19).
On the other side of Milan, the Diavoli are still planning their strategies for the summer transfer window as Silvio Berlusconi is not going to make huge investments before the Chinese consortium completes the takeover of the club.
Berlusconi spent almost € 100 million in the transfer market last summer as he thought Bee Tauchebol would have acquired a minority share in the club and the Italian entrepreneur is not going to make the same mistake 12 months after.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Anderlecht starlet Yuri Tielemans is on the rossoneri’s sights after Marko Pjaca’s snub. The player’s price-tag is set to € 20 million. With Carlos Bacca who is close to leave the club, AC Milan are planning a raid on Genoa to sign Leonardo Pavoletti who could complete a move to the San Siro for € 10 million plus Suso who would return to Genoa after a fantastic six-month loan spell at the Marassi.
