PAPER TALK: Juventus make move for Higuain, Leonardo could return to Inter, Milan linked with Arda
Higuain’s verbal agreement with Juventus doesn’t mean he’s going to move there as Higuain is still open to move somewhere else with Arsenal still keen on the former Real Madrid man who netted 36 goals in 35 Serie A games last term.
In the meantime, it looks like the relationship between Mancini and Inter has reached its lowest level. The nerazzurri boss seemed very disappointed after yesterday’s defeat against CSKA Sofia, but his main concern remains the club’s transfer strategies for this summer.
With the England job still available, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Mancini could leave the club to sit on the bench of the Three Lions. According to Tuttosport, Leonardo could be the right replacement of Mancini at Inter. The Brazilian has already coached Inter and is still on very good terms with Javier Zanetti, and Massimo Moratti who still works as external advisor for the club.
Another hot news from Italian papers is AC Milan’s interest for Arda Turan. The Turkey International joined Barcelona for € 34 million last summer and is not going to leave the Nou Camp on a loan deal. If the blaugrana are to sell the talented winger, they want to do it on a permanent deal. There are currently no confirmations over Barcelona’s interest in De Sciglio.
AC Milan are also rumoured to have offered € 20 million to Villareal for Mateo Musacchio.
