Paper Talk: Strootman no, Gabbiadini yes to Everton; Juve & Besiktas on Ivanovic
He was the hero of Sunday’s derby win over Lazio and now Roma want to reward Dutch midfielder Kevin Strootman with a new deal in the Italian capital. Corriere dello Sport claims that the giallorossi will extend the players stay at the club until 2021 thus ruling out a possible January move to Everton.
Toffees boss Ronald Koeman has been linked with a new year bid for the 26-year-old but giallorossi Sporting Director Frederic Massara wants to tie down the clubs star players including defender Kostas Manolas and midfielder (and another goal hero from Sunday) Radja Nainggolan.
GABBIADINI STILL LINKED WITH NAPOLI FAREWELL:
There may be better news for the Everton regarding another of their former targets, Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini.
