According to this morning’s La Gazzetta dello Sport, if Everton want to reignite their interest in Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini in January, they will have to find around €30 million.
After his sending off for kicking out in retaliation, the 24-year-old Italian international’s time at the San Paolo looks to be coming to an end. Having already refused the same amount of money in the summer (when the Toffees were one of his main suitors), it seems President Aurelio De Laurentiis will now be prepared to listen to bids in the same region.
It’s been a torrid couple of weeks for the player, who’s failed to fill the void left by injured striker Arek Milik. The paper states that the money collected from any potential deal, will be used to find an alternative replacement. Napoli has already been linked with an approach for Montreal Impact frontman Didier Drogba.
