PAPER TALK: Liverpool's mega-bid for Insigne; Yaya wanted at Juve; Kessie in Premier League link
According to reports from Spain, Liverpool and Valencia are set to go head to head to try to land Napoli striker Lorenzo Insigne. Mundo Deportivo claims that the 25-year-old Italian international, who is a symbol for his hometown club, will seek pastures new next summer.
A refusal to agree to a new contract offer plus the fact that he was booed off the field on Wednesday evening during his sides 2-3 home defeat to Besiktas in the Champions League forcing him to break down in tears, looks to have accelerated a move away from the San Paolo. The journal also claims that Liverpool have already tabled a €50 million bid but face competition form Valencia, who are now under the guidance of the man who gave Insigne his debut in the Italian national team, Cesare Prandelli.
