Bayern Munich have officially announced that Carlo Ancelotti (picture from Bild) will take over at Bayern Munich at the end of the present season. 

Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge confirmed to assemlbed media that Pep Guardiola wouldn't renew his contract, which is set to expire in June. 

He will be replaced by Ancelotti, something we here at calciomercato had reported a few weeks ago. The Italian manager will sign a contract tying him to the Bavarian club for three seasons. 

"We're grateful to guardiola for all that Pep has done for us," Rummenigge said. "We hope to celebrate many successes this season".
