No contacts with Real Madrid for James Rodriguez claims PSG owner
Rumours from all around Europe are linking the French club with welcoming the services of James Rodriguez given that PSG are one of the few clubs which could pay the player’s € 80 million price-tag.
The club’s owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi, however, has denied that his club are interested in signing the Colombian star.
“These rumours are not true, we haven’t spoken with him, nor with his club”, Mr. Al-Khelaifi told reporters today during the presentation of Unai Amery as new team’s coach.
James, 24, netted 8 goals and registered 10 assists in all competitions with Real Madrid last term.
PSG star Edinson Cavani is believed to have rejected a contract extension with the club and the French side have been also linked with welcoming the services of Gonzalo Higuain as a replacement of Zlatan Ibrahimovic who has left the club as a free agent to sign with Manchester United.
