Zidane doesn't see James as a starter; Juve, Man Utd interested
Zinedine Zidane may be enthusiastic about Isco, but he isn't so sure about James Rodriguez.
AS have reported today that whilst the Frenchman wants to keep Isco at the Bernabeu, he doesn't see the Colombian becoming a starter at Real Madrid. Rodriguez is understandably asking for more playing time, and this is beginning to jar with Florentino Perez's insistence that he isn't up for sale.
This could be of some relevance for Juventus, whose prize jewel Paul Pogba is being pursued by Real. If Pogba were to arrive, Rodriguez may finally be shown the door, something Manchester United and Jose Mourinho are anxiously waiting for.
Juventus could themselves be involved, too: remember, Rodriguez visited Turin before the end of the season, but returned home empty-handed despite having discussed with the Bianconeri's front office.
