LIVE: Marcelino's lawyer says Inter 'have chosen Pioli'
13.50 GMT Our sources have updated us: apparently Inter are set to release a press statement soon, in which they will announce the name of their new Coach.
There could also be news with regards to the CEO role, where Michael Bolingbroke is set to have his contract terminated.
1230 GMT - Inter are set to announce their new manager tomorrow, calciomercato.com has exclusively learned. There are currently three candidates for the job: former Villareal boss Marcelino, former Lazio Stefano Pioli and former Watford and Cagliari gaffer Gianfranco Zola.
Marcelino is said to be the leading candidate to become the next manager of the Serie A giants. The Spanish tactician met Suning and their trusted advisor Kia Joorabchian in Milan city centre yesterday. The meeting with Joorabchain is probably the proof that Marcelino is in pole position to get the job.
Guus Hiddink has reportedly called himself out of the race as he is not interested in becoming Inter’s new manager.
Inter owners Suning are set to have some more meetings today before announcing the final decision through an official announcement that will be release tomorrow. The Serie A giants’ director of sport Piero Ausilio and Chief Football Administrator Giovanni Gardini are also meeting Suning representative in this moment ahead of tomorrow’s final decision.
