Napoli midfielder Marko Rog has been speaking to the Croatian edition of Goal.com. After finally making his debut in Friday’s home win over Inter, the 21-year-old explained that his departure from the San Paolo was greatly exaggerated; “The loan was never in question, I’m really happy here and I want to help the team”.
 

He continued; “I want to learn the language as soon as possible so it’s easier to understand what the coach is saying to me. The fans of Napoli are special; they transmit great affection across to the players”. Finally, asked whether his side could still challenge for the title this season he replied; “We can do it. Juventus are not that convincing this season and there are still plenty of points up for grabs. We must continue to believe”.  

The partenopei got their season back on track on Friday evening with a resounding 3-0 home win over the nerazzurri.
