Napoli boss Sarri opens door to Balotelli move

OGC Nice striker Mario Balotelli watched the Napoli-Inter game yesterday night praising the partenopei players through his official Twitter account. With Napoli looking for a classic centre forward to replace Arkadiusz Milik in the winter transfer window, it hasn’t taken long to link SuperMario with a possible move to Napoli in January.

Questioned over his interest in signing Balotelli during the incoming transfer window, Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri has kept the door open to a possible transfer of the Italian striker.

“I don’t know if Balotelli is bored in Nice, doesn’t look like a boring city to me”, he told Italian media after the final whistle yesterday night.

“It’s easy to feel at ease at Napoli, but it’s just up to him. He has enough quality to play in every team he wants, when he doesn’t use them it’s just his fault.”

Balotelli swapped Liverpool with Nice last summer in a free transfer and isimpressing with the current Ligue1 table leaders having netted seven goals in nine appearances in all competitions.
