Balotelli: 'I nearly went to Juve. If Nice win Ligue 1 I'll fly a helicopter above the city'

    Mario Balotelli is never boring.

Having spoken in front of Sky Italia’s cameras about Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi “not being a gentleman”, the former AC Milan striker also had some interesting quotes about his current season at Nice.

“If I win Ligue 1,” he told Sportmediaset, “I’ll take a helicopter and fly above Nice”.

His very strong start to the campaign has helped Le Gym lead the league, three points ahead of second-placed Monaco and third-placed PSG.

He then mentioned that he nearly moved to Juventus: “Before moving to Milan I was supposed to go to Juve, but there were some problems and the deal fell through.

The 26-year-old Borgo Novo native also defended his lack of form in his second stint at AC Milan last season, claiming that  “Sinisa Mihajlovic was right, last year I didn’t emerge because of physical problems”.

He also added that he’s “only thinking of Nice, and France” in response to rumours of a move to Napoli.

“I love Napoli and the local population, my daughter lives there, but returning to Italy isn’t in my plans”.
