Napoli: offer for Witsel. Juventus: back for Xabi Alonso
Awaiting for tonight’s Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund, Napoli are already thinking about the next transfer window: as highlighted by La Gazzetta dello Sport, for example, four players of the German team are, or have been, azzurri’s targets: 25 year old striker Robert Lewandoswki, 24 year old defender Neven Subotic, 24 year old midfielder Marco Reus and same-aged forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, whose agent Oscar Damiani Junior has confirmed yesterday that Napoli have been tracking their client but that finally their manager have preferred Jose Maria Callejon. Meanwhile, the azzurri, after failing in signing Jeremy Toulalan during the last transfer window, keep on seeking a midfielder, and, according to Izvestia, in January could offer 20 million euros to Zenit St. Petersburg to obtain 24 year old Axel Witsel.
As reported earlier, Serie A defending champions Juventus are keen on Parma 25 year old winger Jonathan Biabiany, but also AS Roma are keen on the Frenchman and could offer to the Aemilian club 22 year old striker Mattia Destro. Reagrding the midfield, the bianconeri could swoop again on Manchester United 25 year old Anderson, while, according to Record, they are ready to offer 5 million euros to Real Madrid to obtain in January 31 year old Xabi Alonso, whose contract with the Spanish club will expire in June 2014.
