Napoli are very close to sign Tottenham’s Dembélé
The Partenopei Sporting Director Cristiano Giuntoli is reported to have offered the North London club € 14 million to secure the Belgium International service’s in the January transfer window. According to reports, Giuntoli should have found already an agreement with the player.
The 28 year old joined White Hart Lane in 2012 on a € 19 million deal from Fulham. After a satisfying first season, he failed to live up to expectations in North London and now he seems not to be on Mauricio Pochettino’s good book anymore. Dembélé has only played 294 minutes in 5 Premier League matches this term.
Napoli’s targets for the next transfer window are a midfielder and a central defender. Actually, the only central defender that would satisfy Maurizio Sarri’s requests is Daniele Rugani.
The Juventus central defender struggled to adapt to life with Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci and Andrea Barzagli who are playing on a permanent basis at the Juventus Stadium, but despite this the Old Lady doesn't want to lose the Italian prospect at any cost.
