In the last hours of the last transfer window, Napoli –considered the departures of Walter Gargano and Gokhan Inler and the poor performance obtained by Maurizio Sarri’s team in the first two games of the Serie A- have tried to sign a midfielder, but they finally didn’t succeed. The team is now doing much better, but in January –as outlined by calciomercato.com- the azzurri’s executives will try to accomplish Sarri himself, as Jonathan De Guzman is in awful terms with the club and is intended to leave, while Mirko Valdifiori –required by his former coach- is not getting used to the new ambiance. The defense and the offensive line seem to be complete, but the midfield needs to be reinforced, not only in the number but also for what concerns its quality: Napoli are in fact missing a player with a strong personality, capable to lead the whole team.
