Mourinho should get a "six-game ban" claims former referee
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is going through tough times. On Sunday, the “Special One” was sent-off for the second-time this season and as we await the Football Association’s decision on the severity of the punishment, former referee Graham Poll told the Daily Mail that he believes the Portuguese tactician should be given a six-game touchline ban.
Poll explained in his Monday column that Jon Moss was correct to send Mourinho to the stands after yet another one of his famous outbursts and despite reports suggesting that he will be banned for two games, the former official stated that the he thought the punishment should be more severe, explaining that; “Referees have had enough of the clear lack of respect the Portuguese displays, none more so than Moss, who also dismissed him last season. So now referees are doing their jobs it’s time the FA did theirs. A six-game stadium ban might just do the trick”.
