Milan coach Vincenzo Montella has been speaking to Mediaset Premium after seeing his side beat Sampdoria 1-0 with a late goal from substitute Carlos Bacca. He started by stating that; “My protest against the referee? That was just adrenalin. There are more pleasing issues to comment on about the game and it was a very important three points for us. When you prepare for a game there is a strategy, sometimes it goes well, other times not so well”.
 

On the confrontation with Bacca he replied; “Everything is under control, we have three matches in a week and as coach, I have to make choices. Lapadula has done well and Bacca scored after coming on as a substitute; I have no doubt that the two can play together”
