Milan, understanding in place for the renewal of Donnarumma but Raiola could up the stakes.

Milan, understanding in place for the renewal of Donnarumma but Raiola could up the stakes.

Carlos Bacca may have taken most of the plaudits after scoring the winning goal in Friday’s narrow victory for Milan over Sampdoria, but young goalkeeping sensation Gianluigi Donnarumma also continues to impress. Now the rossoneri are ready to sit down and talk about a contract renewal with the 17-year-old.

    THE FIGURES:
Tuttosport reveals that Adriano Galliani and the player’s agent, Mino Raiola, have already come to an understanding to not prolong his current deal until he reaches 18-years of age on February 25th next year. Then a five-year-deal will be put in place worth around €2 million a season.

    RAIOLA RAISES THE STAKES:
An agreement may be done yes, but this is Raiola we are talking about and his client’s elevation to the national team may lead him to re-negotiate the terms with new CEO Fassone and Sporting Director Mirabelli. Should there be any stalling on their part, there are no shortage of possible takers with Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United all monitoring the youngster’s progress.
