Milan still chasing Wilshere, who wants to leave Arsenal for good

Are Milan still in the race for Arsenal wantaway Jack Wilshere?

The Daily Star think so, writing that the Rossoneri are still monitoring the Bournemouth loanee.

According to the report, the midfielder has expressed his wish to rescind his current Arsenal deal, which is set to expire next summer.

This would open the door to teams like Milan and Roma, who were very interested in the midfielder this summer, only to see him join the Cherries, instead.

Following a string of injuries, Wilshere’s loan was an attempt at gaining some playing time. While he is now a starter in Eddie Howe’s team, he has yet to record a single goal or assist for the second-year top-flight team.

Wilshere, 24, had apparently bought into the idea of joining AS Roma during the summer window, only to see his move kiboshed by Arsenal.

The Gunners preferred Bournemouth, who offered the highest amount of money to the Emirates club.
