Milan lies between Rodrigo Bentancur and Jose Ernesto Sosa but there is one problem; the rossoneri only has space in its team for one non-EU player and a decision must now be made. Adriano Galliani has given an ultimatum to Boca Juniors for the 19-year-old Bentancur and if the club fail to accept the €13 million on offer for the player (plus a percentage of a possible future sale) by the end of today, then the deal is off. A response has not yet arrived but the silence is not positive for Milan; that and the fact that Juventus have a “Gentleman’s Agreement” in place to take the Uruguayan as part of last summer’s transfer involving Carlos Tevez.  

So Milan may return to an old flame and Besiktas midfielder Jose Ernesto Sosa. According to Turkish sources, the rossoneri has reached an agreement for the 31-year-old of €7.5 million and now the player looks to be closer to a move than Bentancur.
