Milan: Mexès could stay. Juve: also Allan on the shortlist

As reported yesterday, AC Milan are not convinced to keep their defender Philippe Mexès, whose contract is about to expire, while the Frenchman would like to stay: as revealed by calciomercato.com, the two parties are getting closer and could meet next week to try to find an agreement; the rossoneri are ready to offer to the 33-year-old a contract with a lower salary but with some bonuses linked to the player’s attitude also outside the pitch. In the next days there have been some transfer rumors also regarding 27-year-old winger Jérémy Menez, but the former Paris Saint-Germain player has declared –through the Lombardian club’s official channel- that he is happy at “San Siro”, that he wants to honor his contract and that he hopes that his current coach Filippo Inzaghi remains too. In the mid time, Milan are working to reinforce their midfield, and, as well known, one of their main targets for such position is Empoli 29-year-old Mirko Valdifiori: interviewed by GazzettaTV, the Tuscan club’s president Fabrizio Corsi has confirmed to have talked about the player with Napoli, though for the moment there is nothing concrete going on; on the contrary, as reported by the same media, the rossoneri have found an agreement for Parma 19-year-old Josè Mauri, as partly confirmed by the player’s agent Dino Zampacorta to MilanNews.
Also Serie A champions Juventus are seeking a midfielder, and, as reported by the Corriere dello Sport, in addition to Real Madrid 28-year-old Sami Khedira are also keen on Udinese 24-year-old Allan.
