Two weeks until the conclusion of the summer transfer window and Milan are still looking to gift coach Vincenzo Montella some reinforcements. A midfielder and a forward who is expert at playing out wide is the priority and Adriano Galliani, in what could be his last involvement in the transfer market with the club, is trying to deliver. As we have already stated on calciomercato.com, Besiktas midfielder Jose Sosa is in pole-position to bolster the central areas and there could now be a return to the pursuit of Ajax frontman Anwar El Ghazi.
 

Portuguese super-agent Jorge Mendes has offered the 21-year-old to the rossoneri; a player who Milan courted last January without success after Luiz Adriano’s move to China collapsed. Now, the Moroccan born forward, who netted 11 times in 27 appearances last season, is very much a target once again. Another alternative is Juan Cuadrado, but the Colombian’s return to Serie A from Chelsea looks unlikely if Sosa, or even Rodrigo Bentancur, heads to Milanello in the next two-weeks.
