Besiktas forgives Sosa: does this mean no Milan?
Jose Sosa is getting further away from Milan. The 31-year-old Besiktas midfielder has been a summer target for Milan but the rossobneri have failed to land their man and now it looks as though he has settled his differences with his current employer after a highly publicised spat.
OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION
Besiktas have issued an official statement which reads; “Following a positive meeting with club management, Jose Sosa is once again at the disposal of the team from today’s training session at 18:00”. Therefore, it looks like Milan has been delivered another blow just 20 days before the end of the summer transfer market.
REMOVAL FROM MILAN
Only yesterday, Besiktas President Fikret Orman declared; “If the player wants to go, he must bring the money that the club are asking for him. In the meantime we want him to apologise to the coach and his teammates, he will only leave if the club decides it’s for the best. The alternative, if he does not apologise, will be to spend the season in the reserve team”. Now the apology has arrived and barring another slip-up, Sosa will line-up for Besiktas this season.
