As reported earlier today, AC Milan seem to have overtaken city rivals Inter in the hunt for Barcelona 26-year-old midfielder Alexandre Song, currently on loan at West Ham; the rossoneri, still regarding their midfield, are also evaluating other options, like Atalanta 22-year-old Daniele Baselli and Empoli 29-year-old Mirko Valdifiori, while last night’s game against Genoa has been the chance to observe the rossoblu’s Andrea Bertolacci, Tino Costa and Iago Falque; on the contrary, 23-year-old Marco Van Ginkel –currently on loan from Chelsea- , 30-year-old Nigel de Jong, same-aged Sulley Muntari and 32-year-old Michael Essien will leave “San Siro” at the end of the current season: the former Chelsea player –according to the Sun- wants to move back to England. Another player intended to leave is 30-year-old forward Giampaolo Pazzini, who, according to La Nazione, could join his former team Fiorentina. Finally, last night, after another negative result, there have some rumors about the possibility for the Lombard club to fire their first team’s coach Filippo Inzaghi, but, as confirmed by Milan Channel, the 42-year-old has been confirmed until the end of the season.
Also Serie A defending champions Juventus are seeking a new coach, and, according to Tuttosport, in addition to Zenit St. Petersburg 26-year-old Axel Witsel, are thinking about another Belgian player, Manchester United 27-year-old Marouane Fellaini.
