As reported earlier today, AC Milan are seeking a new midfielder, and, as outlined by calciomercato.com, the rossoneri are also thinking about Defensor Sporting 19-year-old Mauro Arambarri: the Lombard club’s Director of Football Rocco Maiorino has been observing the player during the South American Youth Championship, and, after appreciating his technical skills and tactical ductility, has had some contacts for the Uruguayan youngster, who is by the way already a target for Malaga; another option remains Atalanta 22-year-old Daniele Baselli, and an agreement for this latter could ease the negotiation for another talented youngster, same-aged right back Davide Zappacosta: the orobici have recently acquired from Avellino the entire ownership of the player, who has suddenly signed a new three-and-a-half-year deal: in the past also city rivals Inter Milan and Juventus have shown an interest for the Italy international, but now the rossoneri seem to be his most probable destination; meanwhile, 22-year-old Marco van Ginkel, who has remained despite the many rumours, could finally have his chance in Filippo Inzaghi’s squad. Juventus are seeking a new goalkeeper, and, as well known, are keen on 25-year-old Norberto Murara Neto, whose contract with Fiorentina is about to expire: according to La Nazione, the bianconeri’s main competitors in the hunt for the Brazil international are now Sampdoria.
