Milan eye Torino hopeful Barreca

Currently on loan from Torino, the 20-year-old left back Antonio Barreca is not getting many chances to play at Cagliari; on the other hand, the youngster is a key player for the coach of the Italian Under 21 national team Luigi Di Biagio, who made him start in the decisive match against Serbia.

After such game, the granata president Urbano Cairo stated: “I’m surprised, he made extremely well. I hope he’ll be ready for us starting the next season, but first he has to do well at Cagliari”

The Piedmont’s club counts in fact on Barreca for its future, but the youngster is also the perfect profile for AC Milan. The rossoneri could make an attempt for the player –valued about 5 million euros- in 2016.
