Milan: Cavani unlikely to join. Juve: good-bye Pirlo
Important changes are expecting AC Milan also for what concerns their team’s defensive line: 28-year-old center back Salvatore Bocchetti, until now on loan from Spartak Moscow, has returned to the Russian club, while –according to La Gazzetta dello Sport- 33-year-old Philippe Mexes and 34-year-old Daniele Bonera are intended to renew their deal with the rossoneri; for this reason, the Lombard club is intentioned to sell 29-year-old Adil Rami, who is a target for Sevilla FC, as confirmed to AS by the Andalusian club’s Sporting Director Monchi; Milan could take advantage of the negotiation with the Rojiblancos to ask them for 29-year-old striker Carlos Bacca, but the Colombia international is also a target for AS Roma; another option for the rossoneri’s offensive line is Paris Saint-Germain 28-year-old Edinson Cavani: interviewed by Marca, the Uruguay international has declared that he wants to remain with his current club, but has also admitted that he wouldn’t dislike to join Atletico Madrid; the Lombardian club –according to Tuttosport- are also thinking about 28-year-old Gonzalo Higuain, while 31-year-old Alessandro Matri, coming back from the loan at Juventus, has told La Gazzetta dello Sport that he is ready to play his chances. The bianconeri risk to loose their playmaker Andrea Pirlo, who –as reported by the same media- has asked the Piedmont’s club to leave to be able to join New York City.
