Milan, Bacca is in doubt: Napoli are still interested

Carlos Bacca is currently with the Colombian national team as they prepare to face Argentina. The Milan front man has been going through a rough patch as he hasn't scored in 5 consecutive games for Milan. Doubts concerning his future remain as Bacca could've left Milan last summer for West Ham in the EPL, but he finally did not want to go there. He currently makes 3.5 million euros net with the rossoneri club and Milan would not consider letting him go for anything under 25 million euros.

According to il Mattino, Napoli are strongly looking for a striker to replace the injured Milik. Pavoletti and Zaza remain the two hottest names but De Laurentiis' club really like the ex-Sevilla striker even if his high wages remain a problem.

Because of his market value and salary, it seems difficult for Bacca to leave Milan already in January but a 2017 summer move might be very realistic. The Colombian international still is a great poacher but Milan's plan is to find a striker who can help the team in their build up play more so than what Bacca currently provides.
