Mihajlovic: ‘Honda can leave if he wants’

Sinisa Mihajlovic wants to stretch Milan’s winning streak to four games against Atalanta in tomorrow’s San Siro clash. The Serbian boss regularly held the pre-match press conference ahead of the game, answering the assembled media's questions.

“We want to earn another victory, but we also want to play well, so that fans can enjoy the game”, Mihajlovic told the press.

“We are more relaxed after three successive victories, there is less criticism now.  We were not a mediocre team before, and we are not a perfect team now. We need to be balanced and keep working serenely”.

“The guys deserve to play in a crowded stadium. Supporters are everything to us. I hope they’ll understand how important this game against Atalanta is, and come in numbers to the stadium.”

“Every player is important to me, included the ones playing a bit less. If someone is not playing enough, he has to be angry with himself, not with me. Honda had his chances, and although everyone is important, no-one is indispensable. He can leave if he wants."
