Inter: Medel joining. AC Milan: chance for Grenier?
As reported earlier, Inter Milan have carried out the negotiation for Southampton 28-year-old forward Pablo Daniel Osvaldo, last season on loan at Juventus, and this even if 22-year-old midfielder Saphir Taider has refused to join the Saints, as confirmed to BeIn Sports by the Algeria international himself; now the nerazzurri can focus on reinforcing their team regarding other positions, and, as reported by Sky Sport, are about to obtain from Cardiff City 27-year-old midfielder Gary Medel: between the two clubs there are only some problems regarding the bonuses to be solved. Another priority for Inter is reinforcing their team’s defense, and their main target for such position remains FC Porto 28-year-old Rolando Jorge Pires Fonseca, aka Rolando, who has played on loan for the nerazzurri during the second part of the last season: as reported by O Jogo, the Portugal international, whose contract with the Dragoes will expire in less than one year, has refused an important offer received from Russia as he wants the Lombard club only. City rivals AC Milan keep on working to sell some of their players, and one of the main candidates to leave “San Siro” is 30-year-old forward Robinho, but, as reported by the Brazilian medias, at the moment both Santos and Flamengo are not credible options for the former Manchester City player. Regarding the possible new signings, interviewed by calciomercato.com, Fréderic Guerra, agent of Lyon 23-year-old midfielder Clément Grenier, has not excluded the possibility for his client to join the rossoneri.
